MUTEK is an international platform based in Montréal dedicated to the promotion and development of digital creativity in sound, music and audiovisual art, with flagship festivals and professional programs across multiple cities worldwide.

More than a festival, MUTEK operates as a global ecosystem connecting artists, institutions, and industry stakeholders through performances, immersive experiences, and year-round professional activities.

Flumi’s co-founders involvement is long-term and strategic, spanning multiple territories and roles within the network:

• MUTEK Barcelona | Strategic Direction
  Ludovica Michelin has helped the Spanish team with Institutional Relations and Partnership Development, shaping funding strategies and designing the Symposium’s professional program.

• International Development & Network Building
  Pablo Del Bosco has been active within MUTEK since 2005, founding MUTEK Buenos Aires, co-directing MUTEK Mexico, and collaborating with the Montreal headquarters on Digital Strategy, Special Projects such as the Digital Village, and Global Network Coordination.

• Ongoing Consultancy
  After working with the San Francisco, Barcelona, Santiago de Chile and Dubai editions, today Pablo Del Bosco continues to support the network as an international strategic consultant, with a focus on new market development and projects such as MUTEK Tokyo.

On-the-Fly promotes Live Coding, a real-time algorithmic writing technique integrating the coder into the process. Beyond music and images, the project goals include community knowledge exchange, critical reflections, and introducing live coding to new audiences through free and open source tools. Ludovica actively engaged in the project design phase since 2019 and continued as project coordinator until November 2022, overseeing the successful completion and submission of the final project report to the European Commission. Throughout the entire project lifecycle, Ludovica consistently upheld high-quality standards, effectively coordinating, producing, and disseminating project activities.
