Samito, a Montreal-based musician and the founder of FEZIHAUS™, envisions his venture as both a “label-inspired workroom” and a “civic effort.” A graduate of McGill University with a degree in music, his work embodies contemporary sounds and dialogues. His journey has included notable performances at SXSW and Osheaga, collaborations with artists such as Daniel Haaksman and Gaël Faye, and earning awards for his tracks on esteemed labels like Costume Records and Maison Kitsuné. As FEZIHAUS™ continues to expand, Samito is eagerly building diverse creative collaborations and partnerships with like-minded institutions that share his values of creativity, equity, and sustainability.
